Add, Edit, or Delete a Processor
Processors, also referred to as control systems, connect Crestron Fusion to the AV equipment in your installation via standard Ethernet connections. There are many compatible control systems, depending on the equipment being controlled. For more information, refer to the Crestron website.
NOTE: Crestron Fusion RV requires the use of Crestron 3‑Series® or 4-Series® control systems in order to take full advantage of its features.
You can:
Add a Processor
A processor can be added to your system via the Processors folder on the Objects tab.
- Select the Objects tab at the bottom of the tree view pane.

- Select Add in the toolbar. The Add Processor dialog box is displayed.
- Enter a name into the Name field. This could be the actual model of the control system or a user-defined name. This field is required.
- Enter physical location of the processor in the Location field.
- Enter the IP address of the processor in your local network in the IP Address/Hostname field. This field is required.
- Enter the MAC address of the processor in the MAC Address field.

- The Port field will automatically list the default control port used by the processor. Port 41794 is a reserved Crestron CIP/TCP port. This field is required.

If there is, a statement indicating that this is the case will appear on the dialog. If not, the dialog will be dismissed and your new processor will be added to the system. Refer to Auto Discovery and Symbol Discover for more information.
