Auto Discovery

Crestron Fusion® software is able to detect SIMPL symbol information resident in a control system or the XML file of a control program and import that information into the Crestron Fusion database. When it does this, Auto Discovery adds all of the symbols it finds to the same room. Attributes are automatically added to the appropriate symbol listing during this process.

From the user's perspective, it is possible to automate the configuration of a symbol when adding or editing a processor, or when adding a room with a symbol. When managing processors the user can direct Crestron Fusion to scan for processors and automatically configure both them and their symbols.
