. To widen the
column, move your mouse cursor to the right. To make the column narrower,
move it to the left.The Property Grid tool window provides a way to organize and set properties for all elements in your screen design project. Contents displayed in the Property Grid vary depending on the selected object.
The Property Gridis shown whenever a design element is selected and allows you to set attributes for the following items:
Pages
Hard Buttons
Image Lists
The first time you start Crestron Studio® the Property Grid tool window is open and docked at the right side area of the Basic Screen Designer. You can customize the available Workspace by re-sizing, moving, pinning, floating, hiding temporarily or closing the Property Grid tool window.
When changed,
the size and location of the Property
Grid are saved automatically and used the next time you open your
project.
The
information in the Property
Grid is divided into two columns: Property
Name(column to the left) and Property Value(column
to the right). If desired, you can manually adjust the width of
the columns. To do so, place your cursor over the divider between the
Property Name and
Property Value columns.
The cursor changes to a double-arrow . To widen the
column, move your mouse cursor to the right. To make the column narrower,
move it to the left.
The Property
Value column allows you to modify the value of the selected property.
Depending on the property, you can enter text, a numeric value, select
an item from a drop-down list, select an item from a dialog, and so on.
When
the value of a property has changed, the Property name font changes to
italic to indicate that this property value has not been saved yet, for
example:
Note that to display the properties of a particular item inProperty Grid , the item must be selected. For example, theProperty Grid displays properties information for a Page when the corresponding Page name is selected in the Design Explorer, Page Explorer or the Workspace .
Depending on the type of selection/viewing mode the Property Grid displays either information about individual or generic page properties.
