Use this function to manage the file system's NVRAM disk.
2-Series control systems provide about 256KB of memory for NVRAM. Of this 256KB, either 64KB or 128KB can be reserved for NVRAM disk. The NVRAM disk can store run-time data for SystemBuilder or D3 Pro applications, and other non-volatile files that SIMPL+ modules can access.
To create the NVRAM disk, click the Enable NVRAM Disk check box. Then specify the size of disk: 64KB or 128KB.
If you change the disk size, keep in mind that this will erase the contents of the NVRAM disk before creating a new NVRAM disk of the specified size.
If you clear (de-select) the Enable NVRAM Disk check box, this will erase the contents of the NVRAM disk and delete the NVRAM disk directory from the file system.
To clear the contents of the NVRAM disk without deleting the disk, click Clear NVRAM Disk.
