Use this function to set up the device's IP Table. An IP Table is a lookup table used by Crestron Ethernet devices to map between IP IDs and IP addresses.
To view the device's current IP Table, if any exists, click Load from Device.
Click Clear Device to erase the current IP Table.
To save the IP Table entries to a (.dip) text file, click Save to File. Locate the target directory, name the file and click Save.
To view or edit a previously saved .dip file, click Load from File, locate the file and click Open.
To add slave devices to the control system's IP Table
For 3-Series control systems only, select the Program
(1 through 10) from the drop-down list.
Click Add Entry.
Standard Settings
Select the IP ID of the controlled Ethernet device from the IP ID list.
Set the Device ID from drop-down list
Type the Room ID or Room Name in the Room ID text field
Set the IP address to localhost: 127.0.0.1.
Select Slave from the Type drop-down list.
Advanced Settings
For Ethernet touch screens implementing JNR (join number remapping), select the Device ID from the Device ID list.
Change the Port number if different from the default.
When you are satisfied with the entry click OK.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each Ethernet slave device (up to 252).
When you have finished adding all entries to the IP Table click Send to Device to upload the IP Table to the control system.
To configure the slave device's IP Table
Open a session with the controlled Ethernet device.
Click Add Entry.
Standard Settings
Select the IP ID of the controlled Ethernet device from the IP ID list.
Enter the IP address or host name of the control system in the address field.
Select Master from the Type drop-down list.
Advanced Settings
For Ethernet touch screen implementing JNR (join number remapping), select the Device ID from the Device ID list.
Enter the Port number if different from the default.
When you are satisfied with the entry click OK.
If the device will be controlled by more than one Ethernet master, repeat steps 2 and 3 for each master.
Ethernet touch screens can be slaved to a maximum of 252 masters.
Ethernet remote processors can be slaved to no more than 1 master.
Click Send to Device to upload the IP Table to the device.
To set the SCIP Authentication Credentials - SSL/SSH Connection
Certain devices support Secure Crestron IP between themselves and their corresponding control systems. For supported devices on a SSL or SSH connection, set the Secure Crestron IP in the SCIP Authentication Credentials group box.
Enter the user name in the Domain\Username: text field.
Enter the password in the Password text field.
Click the Apply button to apply the credentials to the supported device.
Click the OK button in the SCIP Credentials Updated dialog box:
