The Error Log function allows you to retrieve, download, display, copy, save, open and clear a device error log from the active device.
At launch, the Error Log function retrieves and displays the most commonly used error logs from the device.
Error Log Function - Buttons
Copy to Clipboard: copies the currently displayed error log information. This information can be pasted into Notepad or a word processor.
Retrieve Error Log from Device: retrieves the most commonly used error logs from the device.
Clear Error Log in Device: clears the error log stored in the device.
Open: opens an existing error log (*.err) from a file location.
Save As...: saves the retrieved error log information to a file location.
Download Error Logs from Device: download all device error logs to a file location. [Available only on supported devices (ie: TSW-1052 and select other touch screens as of this writing); otherwise, grayed out.]

Device error logs can be downloaded from only supported devices--TSW-1052 and select other touch screens (as of this writing)--to a file location.
Click the Download Error Logs from Device button:
In the Browse for Folder dialog box, drill to the applicable folder and click the OK button:
The downloaded file’s format is: DeviceLogFiles_<year>_<month>_<day>_<hour>_<minute>.zip
The zip file can be opened within Windows Explorer using any .zip utility (ie: WinZip, 7-Zip).
