Accessing Device Functions

Use this function to send text to a device's display, e.g., the front panel LCD or touchscreen, and to set or change the front panel password.

To send text to display

• Type the text into the text field and click Apply to send the text to the device without exiting the Display Message dialog. You can also click OK to send the text and exit the dialog.

The text will be displayed until you:

• Send different text.

-or-

• Click the Clear Message button. This will restore the original display.

-or-

• Press a hard pushbutton on the front panel.

-or-

• Reset/reboot the device.

To set the front panel password

1. Click Password.

2. Select the four digits of the numeric password from the lists.

3. Click Change.
