Room Details - General Tab: Crestron-PinPoint

Crestron Fusion® software 10.2 works with the Crestron PinPoint™ Enterprise app to enable users to schedule Meeting Rooms based on room availability, location, capacity, and in‑room resources from a mobile device.

Four new fields have been added to the Room Details' General tab to facilitate Meeting Room Scheduling:

• Adjacent Location: The Adjacent Location specifies a single additional Location as a method to expand the search to find other available rooms in a particular Location. This field should match the string of the Location field specified in the Room Details’ General tab for other room(s) in the immediate area of this room (for example, for a building segmented as North and South, Adjacent Location for rooms with a Location of North would be set to South. For rooms with a Location of South, Adjacent Location would be set to North).
• Air Media Info: This is an AirMedia® presentation gateway device's IP address and code. The Crestron PinPoint™ service automatically detects the AirMedia device installed in the room and dynamically generates the IP Address and code after every presentation when the AirMedia device driver is specified on an AirMedia Asset added to the room. If not using the device driver, specify the AirMedia Info as IP_Address Code with a space between the IP address and Code, and set the AirMedia to use a static code value
• Room Capacity: This is the Room's seating capacity.
• Room Type: Room Type and description, for example, Auditorium, Video Conference Room, etc. For more information on setting up room types, see Room Types.
