Global Macros

Global Macros are sets of actions that can be used for programming any device. A Global Macro consists of pre-defined steps that can be assigned to any event. Global Macros will execute actions in the order that they appear in the Macro Actions window.

To create a Global Macro

1. Go to Design and Program and choose Advanced Programming.

2. Click on the Program Global Macros tab. This will display all currently defined global macros.

3. Press New to create a new, "blank"  Macro.
   
   To rename the macro, select it and press , or right-click on it and choose Rename.
   

4. (optional) Select the Enable Multicast check box if you wish to enable the multicast feature for this global macro.

5. From Available Steps assign steps, delays, and conditionals just as for individual buttons (see Programming Steps).

To delete a global macro:

1. Select the global macro from the list

2. Choose Delete from the Toolbar above

   Right-click on it and choose Delete from the menu

   Press the button on the keyboard.
