R25

R25 is a scheduling system used primarily by colleges and universities to schedule both academic and nonacademic activities. An activity that appears on the R25 schedule is called an “event” by the system. Each event must be associated with an event type, a parent ID, a cabinet ID, and an organization ID. These IDs are expressed as numbers generated by the R25 system and those numbers are used in the Crestron Fusion Configuration module, Scheduling folder, R25 tab in the following fields : R25 Default Event Type, R25 Default Parent ID, R25 Default Cabinet ID, and R25 Default Organization ID.

Additional fields that must be filled in are R25 User ID, R25 Password, and R25 Base URL.

The R25 settings on the Crestron Fusion® software Configuration module are unique to each installation and may change from time to time depending on the installation. Refer to your R25 scheduling documentation for more information.

If a room has an R25 calendar type and the Default Schedule Provider: drop‑down menu is set to R25 in the Crestron Fusion Configuration Manager, entering a valid alias is the only requirement for adding a room. If the Default Schedule Provider: drop‑down menu is not set to R25, entering an alias and selecting Lookup Room Name opens a list of matching "spaces" from which you can make an appropriate choice by selecting a space and then selecting Select.

NOTES:

  • The R25 scheduling system only supports the English language.

  • When using R25 as the Default Schedule Provider, Enable New Meeting Detection check box must be unchecked (False) on the Scheduling (in the Configuration module > General tab).
