Google Calendar

Crestron Fusion® software supports the Google Calendar™ calendaring application. This allows Google Calendar users to view, add, read, edit, or delete Crestron Fusion meetings and events. When Google is chosen from the Server Access drop‑down menu, the Calendar Email Address field is displayed beneath it along with the Verify Mailbox Setting button.

NOTE: For more information regarding the implementation of Google Calendar and the Google® Service Account, refer to Setting up Google Calendar and the Google Service Account.

  1. Select Google in the Server Access drop‑down.
  2. Enter the email address of the room in the Calendar Email Address field and then select Verify Mailbox Setting.
  3. When the pop‑up indicates that verification is successful, dismiss it by selecting OK.
  4. Select Save & Close to commit your change.

NOTES:

  • Google Calendar does not check for room availability in Crestron Fusion and it does not prevent double booking. Crestron Fusion rejects any double booking coming from Google.
  • If you change the calendar type of a room that has meetings associated with it, you will lose the meetings.
