External Groupware

Crestron Fusion® software provides a method for a third‑party developer—whether a Crestron Certified Programmer (CAIP) or a customer—to create a service supporting niche groupware scheduling applications. This capability provides scheduling access to Crestron Fusion from an external web service which can be called directly from the Crestron Fusion Schedule Service.

NOTE: For more information regarding implementation of the external groupware provider, refer to External Groupware Provider API.

When External is chosen from the Server Access drop‑down menu, the following fields are displayed immediately beneath it: Calendar ID, URL, Username, and Password. Enter the information appropriate to your situation.

NOTE: If you change the calendar type of a room that has meetings associated with it, you will lose the meetings.
