Upgrade to Microsoft® SQL Server® 2012 Express

If you have to upgrade to Microsoft® SQL Server® 2012 Express please follow the instructions below to ensure that Crestron Studio® will continue working:

1. Run the setup.exe for Microsoft® SQL Server® 2012 Express as an administrator

2. In the SQL Server Installation Center dialog, click Installation in the left pane

3. In the right pane, select Upgrade from SQL Server 2005, SQL Server 2008, or SQL Server 2008 R2.
   
   
   

4. On the Select Instance page, choose “<<Upgrade shared features only>>” from the drop-down list to upgrade only the SQL Server Management Tools:
   
   
   

5. Complete the upgrade
